Refund Policy
For all direct bookings: podcast recording, venue rental, screening room, and performance sessions.
01 Booking & payment
This policy applies to direct bookings with OVASEA Studios made through our website, Acuity Scheduling, Stripe, or directly with the studio.
Full payment confirms your booking. An inquiry, availability confirmation, or unpaid payment request does not reserve your date and time.
Your booking confirmation identifies your service, scheduled time, and included services. Additional equipment, production support, editing, or special arrangements must be agreed upon separately.
02 Cancellations & refunds
- Cancellations received at least seven days before the scheduled start time qualify for a full refund.
- Cancellations received less than seven days before the scheduled start time are nonrefundable. Missed appointments are also nonrefundable.
- Bookings made less than seven days before the scheduled start time fall immediately within the nonrefundable cancellation window.
The seven-day cutoff is measured as 168 hours before the scheduled start. Booking times and cancellation deadlines use the studio’s local time in Atlanta, Georgia.
03 Cancellation requests
Email hello@ovaseastudios.com with your name, booking date, scheduled time, and service. If your booking confirmation includes an online cancellation option, you may also use that option.
Refund eligibility is based on when the cancellation is submitted through the booking system or received by email, rather than when the studio responds. Keep your cancellation confirmation or sent email for your records.
04 Refund processing
Eligible refunds will be issued to the original payment method. OVASEA Studios will confirm when the refund has been submitted. The time required for the funds to appear depends on your bank and payment provider.
05 Rescheduling
Each direct booking may be rescheduled once at no additional charge, subject to studio availability. Requests must be received before the scheduled start time. Missed appointments do not qualify.
The replacement session or event must take place within 30 days of the original scheduled date. Your payment will transfer to the replacement date confirmed by OVASEA Studios. Any further date change requires a new booking and full payment.
Cancellation and refund eligibility remains based on the original booking date and scheduled start time. Rescheduling does not restart the seven-day cancellation window or make a nonrefundable payment refundable.
If no suitable replacement date is available within the 30-day period, the cancellation and refund terms for the original booking apply.
06 If OVASEA cancels
If OVASEA Studios cancels your booking, you may choose a full refund or rescheduling to an available date agreed upon with the studio.
07 Arrival & reserved time
Your reservation begins and ends at the times shown in your booking confirmation. Include any required setup, breakdown, and cleanup within your reserved time.
Late arrival does not extend the scheduled end time. Additional time is subject to availability and must be approved by the studio, with any additional charge agreed upon before the extension.
08 Service-specific terms
The general booking, cancellation, and refund terms above apply to all direct bookings. The following terms address what is included in each service.
Podcast recording
Recording services, equipment, editing, and file delivery are included as stated in your purchased package or written agreement. Any editing or delivery schedule must be confirmed for your booking.
Venue rental
Your reservation includes the space, equipment, and amenities listed in your booking. Additional services, technical support, or special setups must be agreed upon separately. Include setup, breakdown, and cleanup within your reserved time.
Screening room
Your reservation includes the screening room, equipment, and amenities listed in your booking. Contact the studio before booking to discuss any special playback or technical requirements. Include setup, breakdown, and cleanup within your reserved time.
Performance sessions
Performance sessions cover the number of songs and edited videos stated in the purchased package. Multiple takes may be recorded within the reserved session time.
Initial edited video delivery is included within 72 hours after both the session has concluded and OVASEA Studios has received all required materials. Required materials may include the final audio track, correct artist and song information, and any agreed graphics or assets.
One revision round is included. Submit your requested changes together in one consolidated list. Revision work is scheduled separately and is not included in the initial 72-hour delivery window.
The included revision round covers adjustments to the agreed edit using existing footage. Additional revision rounds, new versions, substantial changes to the agreed scope, and reshoots require a separate agreement and may incur additional charges.
09 Peerspace reservations
Reservations made through Peerspace follow the cancellation, refund, payment, and other terms displayed on Peerspace for that reservation.
10 Policy updates
The policy provided at the time of booking applies to that reservation. Later changes will apply to future bookings.
